Tender perennial in the borage family, Boraginaceae
Fast-growing tree from southern Asia, sometimes described as the “miracle tree,” “drumstick tree,” or “horseradish tree.” It is prized for its multi-tool facets in the garden and farm.
Here in North Texas it will die down to the ground. You can mulch the tuberous roots or bring them inside for the winter. Loves the heat and is drought tolerant.
Grows: 12-15 feet tall in first year
Moringa will tolerate poor soil
Plant size will be 18”-24” inches
