  • Fabulous plant lore; originally from Columbia, Lemon Verbena went to Europe in the 1700's and to North America in 1800’s.  It was considered  a novelty plant during the mid 1800’s and is peppered throughout Laura Ingalls Wilder's books - she gave Lemon Verbena Water to Miss Beadle.
