Design
Full Permaculture Design: The Blueprint
Perfect for: Homesteaders and serious growers ready for a complete transformation.
If you want a comprehensive roadmap for your property, we create a detailed design based on Zone and Sector planning. We analyze sun angles, wind patterns, water flow, and wildlife to place every element where it works hardest. All Designs begin with the Initial Consulation. If you decide to purchase a design for your property the consulation fee is applied to the cost of your design.

Consultations
The Initial Consultation:
Perfect for: Getting unstuck, understanding your site, and getting a clear starting point.
This is a deep-dive walk-through of your space. We'll assess your soil, sun, water flow, and existing vegetation to identify opportunities you might miss on your own.
Garden Coaching: Your Partner in the Dirt
Perfect for: Homeowners who want to learn by doing, not just reading a plan.
A garden coach is part designer, part installer, and part cheerleader. Unlike a consultant who hands you a plan and leaves, or a contractor who does the work for you, I work with you.
We roll up our sleeves and tackle your project together. I'll help you shop for the best plants, teach you how to install your own guilds, troubleshoot problems, and celebrate your wins.
Coaching
Design & Consulting: Grow a Garden That Works for You
You don't need acres of land or hours of time to grow your own food, medicinal herbs and useful plants. You need right design, the right plants, and a plan that works with your land—not against it.
For over 17 years, I've helped families, homesteaders, and community organizations across North Texas transform their yards into resilient, productive ecosystems. Certified as a Permaculture Designer in 2009, I use a blend of permaculture design, regenerative farming practices, market gardening priciples and garden coaching to help you create a system that feeds you for years to come.
Whether you want a single herb spiral, a full-scale food forest, or just someone to walk alongside you as you dig, I'm here to help.
Step 1: The Asset Inventory & Goal Setting
To make the most of our time together, I ask that every client complete the Good Tilth Property Questionnaire before our first meeting.
This isn't just a form; it's a 30-minute investment that saves us hours of guessing later. It helps me:
Identify your assets: (e.g., "I have a west-facing slope," "I have chickens," "I have a water spigot here.")
Understand your constraints: (e.g., "HOA rules," "Shaded by a large oak," "Drought-prone soil.")
Clarify your vision: (e.g., "I want to feed my family," "I want a pollinator sanctuary," "I need privacy.")
Spot opportunities: (e.g., "Water pools here in the rain," "The wind blows hard from the north.")
Why do this? Because a design that ignores your reality is just a pretty picture. A design built on your actual assets, issues and goals is a system that works.

Why Grow Your Own?
Food Security: Americans produce only ~4% of our own food. Your yard could be the fourth-largest agricultural land base in the country.
Eat Actual Food: No more mystery ingredients. Grow food you can trust.
Mental Health: Gardening is "cheap therapy." Soil bacteria boost serotonin, and morning sun reduces cortisol. It's half the price of a therapist, plus you get tomatoes.
How It Works
Reach Out: Fill out our Pre-Consultation Questionnaire (23 questions to help us understand your goals, frustrations, and assets).
Initial Chat: A free 15-minute call to see if we're a good fit.
The Consultation: We meet on-site, walk the land, and start sketching.
The Plan: You get your workbook, sketch, and plant list.
The Action: Whether you hire me for coaching, a full design, or just go it alone with our guidance—you start growing.
Ready to Start?
Whether you have a blank slate or an overgrown backyard, we'll help you see what's possible and give you the tools to make it real.
