Perennial in the borage  family, Boraginaceae

Prized for its multi-tool facets in the garden and farm.

Roots and leaves are harvested throughout the growing season.  Here in North Texas, comfrey will leaf out after frosts and die back in direct sun.  Higher yields when planted to protect from Texas sun.  Thi cultivar is sterile and is propagated by root division.  It will not produce seed.

Grows:  Full size, large plant in 8-10 weeks.  Optimal growth is dappled shade.     


Comfrey will tolerate poor soil 

Plant size will be 12” - 18” inches
