A 5-Day Morning Intensive for Teens & Adults

From Lawn to Edible Landscape. In this 15-hour hands-on camp, you will learn to design, build, and plant a resilient garden ecosystem that provides for your family's needs. No experience needed!

 What's Included? 

Every student receives a take-home kit to start their transformation immediately:

  • Live Planted Guild: Comfrey + Choice of Longevity Spinach/Sunchoke + Choice of Elderberry/Goji Berry.

  • Bokashi Starter: Ferment kitchen scraps into fertilizer.

  • KNF Soil Amendment: WSC 

  • The Burbstead Builder Binder:  Workbook with maps, sector analysis and a 3-Month to 3-Year Plan.

  • Daily Light Breakfast: Muffins (Homemade Organic & Low Carb) fruit, tea, and coffee.

The 5-Day Schedule (8:30 AM – 11:30 AM)

We cover all 12 core Burbsteading modules:

  • Day 1: Observation & Design. 1. Sense of Place, 2. Permaculture 101,  3. Sun & Weather.

  • Day 2: Soil & Water. 4. Regenerative soil building, Bokashi, 5. Water Harvesting & Contour Mapping.

  • Day 3: Plants & Propagation. 6. Food Forest Layers, 7. Gardening, and 8. Propagation techniques.

  • Day 4: Animals & Stewardship. 9. Urban Animal Husbandry, 10. App Tech, 11. Seed Saving  Preservation.

  • Day 5: Master Plan 12. Finalize your Master Site Design, and take home your Implementation Plan.
